Eden Estate Visits “CHULA Zero Waste”

17 May 2022, Bangkok – Ms. Tanyatip Chearavanont, CEO of Eden Estate, led a team to visit “CHULA Zero Waste” to study waste management at a corporate level and meet with Mr. Korb Limsuwan, Head of Transformation towards Sustainability at Chulalongkorn University.

“CHULA Zero Waste” is developing a prototype for sustainably managing solid and hazardous waste at Chulalongkorn University. The project will create awareness so students and officials understand the importance of continually reducing and separating waste as responsible global citizens.

Ms. Tanyatip spoke on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their application through cloth bags for office use to reduce the use of plastic, paper boxes for re-using paper, and handmade books to reuse paper and help underprivileged children.

The workshop aimed to create awareness of environment conservation and support relevant policies as a part of corporation culture. Campaigns promote how to separate waste correctly, how to reduce daily waste and the use of plastic bags. Green meetings help use resources for maximum benefit and reduce environment impact, promoting sustainable growth for the future of the world.

It’s time for us to change for our world.
