Eden Estate and Paper Ranger Hold “Notebooks for Children”
19 August 2022, Bangkok – Eden Estate joined with “Paper Ranger” to make notebooks from donated paper for pupils who need school equipment.
Mr. Poonyot Kampolkanja, Head of Paper Ranger, explained how to make notebooks for children from A4 paper with at least a single unused section.
The project aims to make a social contribution and spread awareness that discarded paper can be useful and reusable, a symbol of the outstanding project.
The initiative was started in 2007 by a group of students who saw how to give wastepaper new uses by a simple process to create notebooks. The project has developed to combine environmental conservation and volunteering through the story of a handmade notebook, operating under the Thai Rural Reconstruction Movement Foundation under Royal Patronage.
You can follow updates and support the project at Facebook “Paper Ranger Resurrection of Paper” and join volunteers making notebooks together.
