Eden Estate Volunteers Plant Mangroves

28 October 2022, Bangkok – Ms. Tanyatip Chearavanont, CEO of Eden Estate, led a team of volunteers to plant mangroves at Bang Khun Tien Mangrove Forest Learning Center.

The project is helping marine and coastal ecosystems in alignment with the “CSR Planting Forests in the People’s Hearts under the King’s Philosophy Project” for conserving and restoring mangrove forests at Bang Khun Tien.

The team planted mangroves inside 200 cement pipes in the forest, helping reduce coastal erosion that affects ecosystems and the nurseries and shelters they provide for marine life.

Bang Khun Tien Mangrove Forest Learning Center operates under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration policy to create learning resources under the King’s Philosophy Project, according to the royal wish of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great to conserve and enhance mangrove forests, providing a center for people, students, government agencies, businesses, tourists, and anyone interested in learning about restoring ecosystems and the Bangkok sea, recovering their rich biodiversity.
